Homebarista Online Live Course
LETS PULL SHOTS TOGETHER ONE TO ONE REAL TIME LIVE
☕ Master Espresso From Home — With a Barista Who Trains You Live
An interactive online espresso course where you and your instructor pull shots together. Hands-on guidance. Zero guesswork. Real café skills at home.
Why This Isn’t Just Another Coffee Course
Most online barista courses show you how they pull great shots.
This one shows you how you pull great shots — on your machine, with your beans.
You won’t just watch.
You’ll prepare espresso live with a professional barista who guides every step:
Grind adjustments
Dose & distribution
Tamping technique
Dialing in any coffee
Extraction flow and timing
Milk steaming and latte art (optional module)
This is the closest you can get to having a barista standing next to you — without leaving home.

☕ Online Barista Session – Technical Checklist
Please complete this setup before our lesson starts.
This ensures a smooth session and lets me see your espresso clearly so I can guide you step-by-step.
1. Camera Setup
✔ Use a phone, tablet, or laptop with a working camera
✔ Charge your device or plug it in
✔ Position the camera so I can clearly see:
The portafilter area
The puck prep (tamping, distribution)
The espresso extraction (the stream coming out)
If doing milk: the steam wand + milk pitcher
Best angle:
Camera 20–50 cm from your machine, slightly lower than the portafilter height.
✔ Recommended: use a small phone tripod or place your device on stacked books
✔ Make sure lighting is strong and coming from behind me, not behind you
✔ Clean the camera lens
2. Audio
✔ Make sure your microphone works
✔ Turn off background music and noise
Tip: Grinder and steam wand are loud — it’s OK to mute during those moments.
3. Internet Connection
✔ Connect to the strongest Wi-Fi signal available
✔ If possible, move your router closer to the machine
✔ Close all other apps or tabs using internet
✔ If others are streaming at home, ask them to pause during our session
4. Espresso Machine Preparation
✔ Turn on your machine at least 15–20 minutes before session
✔ Fill the water tank
✔ Have the portafilter installed and heated
✔ Make sure your machine is clean and ready to use
5. Grinder Preparation
✔ Hopper filled with beans
✔ Burrs clean (if needed)
✔ Your usual grind setting ready
✔ A brush or small tool available for quick adjustments
6. Tools You Need on the Table
Please have everything within reach:
Portafilter and basket
Tamper
Distribution tool (optional)
Scale (mandatory for espresso)
Timer (or phone timer)
Cup(s) for shots
Cloth or towel
Small waste container
Milk pitcher (if steaming milk)
7. Beans
✔ Have at least 100–150g of beans ready for practice
✔ Fresh beans (7–21 days from roast) are ideal
✔ If using different beans, keep the bag nearby so I can check roast level
8. Milk (if doing milk steaming or latte art)
✔ Have cold milk ready (whole milk preferred)
✔ Have an empty pitcher for practice
✔ Optional: Dish soap + water for milk-steaming practice without wasting milk
9. Clean Workspace
✔ Clear space around the machine
✔ Dry, stable surface
✔ Towels ready for spills
10. Quick Test Before the Lesson
Please do this 2 minutes before our session:
Start the video call
Show me your camera angle → adjust if needed
Pull a few seconds of water through the group head to warm the machine
Turn on your scale
Have beans and tools ready
All set!
If you have any technical issues, message me before the session and I’ll help you get ready.
